Brewers extend win streak to 3

April 22, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Brewers ran their win streak to 3-games, rolling to an 8-0 shutout win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday night.

The Brewers improved to 7-7 as Yovani Gallardo tossed 5 shutout innings, striking out 10.  Nine of the first 11 Pittsburgh batters retired by Gallardo, came via the strikeout.  Gallardo said luckily he was able to overcome a high pitch count to win.
