Veterans get a night off

Green Bay Packer players with 7-years or more experience, received the night

off last night.  Packers coach Mike McCarthy said resting veterans allowed a number of younger players to get more reps on both sides of the ball.

The group of players off included quarterback Aaron Rodgers and that meant Matt Flynn and Graham Harrell ran the show in practice.

The Packers will practice tonight and Thursday night before departing for the White House to meet with the President on Friday.
