Panthers blow lead, fall in overtime

November 12, 2012 By Bill Scott

The UW-Milwaukee Panthers blew a 17-point second half lead and fell to South Carolina 82-75 in overtime on Sunday.

Milwaukee led 40-23 early in the second half, but watched as South Carolina go on a 26-12 run and tie things up.

Brenton Williams took over in overtime for the Gamecocks, scoring 12 of his 14 points to help pull out the win.  It was coach Frank Martin’s debut as Gamecocks coach.
