Crashes close portions of Highway 41

February 19, 2013 By WRN Contributor

Dodge County authorities had their hands full Tuesday morning, as snowy conditions and visibility issues shut down Highway 41 southbound at Highway 49 near the Brownsville exit.

Sheriff Todd Nehls said up 20 vehicles including jack-knifed semis crashed on the stretch of road. Nehls said contributing factors included motorists driving too fast for conditions, which included icy roads and limited visibility. Motorists in the area were being detoured around the scene.
