Bears go offensive line

April 25, 2013 By Bill Scott

The Chicago Bears took Oregon Guard Kyle Long with the 20th pick in the 2013 NFL draft.

It hasn’t been a secret that the Bears need to improve their offensive line.  Jay Cutler has been one of the most sacked quarterbacks over the last few years.  Long was the top offensive lineman available once Syracuse OL Justin Pugh went a pick ahead of the Bears.

Long is the son of FOX Sports Howie long and brother of Rams DE Jake Long.  He was a 23rd round pick of the Chicago White Sox in 2008 MLB draft.

The Vikings are up next in the NFC North at 23 and 35 before the Packers pick 26.
