Bucks close regular season home schedule tonight

April 15, 2013 By Bill Scott

There’s just two games left in the regular season for the Milwaukee Bucks, including their home finale against the Denver Nuggets tonight.

Denver captured its franchise-record 55th game on Sunday (118-109 over Portland), improving to 37-3 at the Pepsi Center.  Coach George Karl is drawing plenty of conversation with regards to NBA Coach of the Year honors.

Denver is currently in the 3rd position in the Western Conference with 2-games left to play.  Hanging on to that position should give the Nuggets plenty of motivation.

The Bucks are stumbling into the playoffs.  They’ve lost 4-straight and 11 of the last 14 as they get ready for their first round playoff opponent Miami.

The Bucks are trying to get healthy for the playoffs.  Brandon Jennings’ recovery from a left Achilles injury has kept him out the last couple of games, but he’s reportedly getting close to returning.

Big man Larry Sanders has also missed the last two games with a sore lower back, but could return tonight.

The Bucks (37-43) have fallen 6-games below .500 entering play tonight.
