Stricker off to good start at BMW Championship

Madison’s Steve Stricker fired a 5-under par 66 on day 1 of the BMW Championship.  Stricker trails clubhouse leader Brandt Snedeker who fired an opening round 8-under par 63.

Zach Johnson is in the clubhouse with a 7-under par 64, just 1-shot off the lead.  Stricker is tied at 5-under with Charl Schwartzel.

Stricker started the day in 8th place in the FedEx Cup playoff point standings.  The BMW Championship is being played in Lake Forest, Illinois.
