Top ranked Pointers roll on

Top-ranked Stevens Point rebounded from their first loss of the season by beating Platteville 74-59 last night.  The Pointers (21-1, 12-1 WIAC) used a
13-0 run in the second half to pull away.

Trevor Hass led the Pointers with 23 points.

UW-Whitewater

The Whitewater Warhawks are the team that handed Stevens Point their only defeat this season.  Last night, Whitewater cruised to a 63-45 win over La Crosse.  The win clinched a first-round bye in the upcoming WIAC tournament for the 3rd ranked Warhawks.
