Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Khris Davis, sidelined since May 31 with torn meniscus in his right knee, will begin a minor-league rehab assignment Wednesday with the Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

Brewers manager Craig Counsell said Davis should rejoin the Brewers next week.

Wily Peralta

Brewers pitcher Wily Peralta three his first bullpen session since straining his left oblique in late May and Counsell says things went well.

Peralta will throw again on Thursday.  Barring any setbacks, Peralta is expected to get a couple of rehab starts in the minors before returning to the Brewers possibly by late July.
