Bucks win streak ends

Milwaukee Bucks logo 10The Milwaukee Bucks saw their four-game winning streak come to an end, falling 99-83 to the Boston Celtics at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Tuesday night.

Boston’s bench outscored the Bucks reserves 48-25.  The Bucks also lost the rebound battle and committed 18 turnovers that led to 21 Boston points.

Bucks center Greg Monroe had a big first quarter and finished the game with 17 points and 14 rebounds.  Giannis Antetokounmpo added 16 points.

Boston was led by point guard Isaiah Thomas with 20 points, although he struggled from three-point range, making just one-for-ten.

Boston outscored the Bucks 30-17 in the third quarter, including an 18-2 stretch in the last four-plus minutes of the quarter.

The Bucks 14 assists is a season low, as is their point total of 83.

The Bucks entered the game ranked last in the league in rebounding (38.1 Average) and defensive rebounding (28.0).

The Bucks are in Denver to face the Nuggets tonight.
