Brewers to send Jungmann to Biloxi

The Milwaukee Brewers reassigned right-handed pitcher Taylor Jungmann to Class AA Biloxi after a period of rest and mental rejuvenation at the team’s training facility in Phoenix.

Jungmann started the season with the Brewers but got off to a bad start, going 0-4 with a 9.15 ERA in five starts.  Jungmann was sent down to Class AAA Colorado Springs, which is a difficult place to pitch.  He went 1-3 with a 9.87 ERA in eight starts until now.

Instead of sending Jungmann back to Colorado Springs, the Brewers decided it was best to send him to Biloxi with the move to not be looked at as a demotion.

Jungmann is scheduled to start Thursday night for Biloxi against Birmingham.
