December 2, 2016 By Bill Scott

bucky-badger-logoThe Wisconsin women’s basketball team got off to a slow start and fell to North Carolina 72-59 at the Kohl Center on Thursday night.

The Tarheels jumped out to a 23-11 lead in the first 10 minutes, then cruised to victory.

The Badgers (2-6) outscored North Carolina (6-1) 34-25 in the second half but couldn’t overcome their slow start.
