Scott Skiles hasn’t been happy with his team’s defensive effort for much of the
season. Last night, for at least one half, Skiles saw what he was hoping to see and it’s directly linked to the Milwaukee Bucks 97-93 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Bradley Center.
The Bucks held the 76ers to 38 points and 26% shooting (13 of 49) from the field in the second half..

The night didn’t start out with a defensive mentality for the Bucks. They surrendered 33 first quarter points and the 76ers racked up 55 by halftime.
Brandon Jennings finished with 33 points to lead the Bucks (15-23). Drew Gooden added 25 points and 10 rebounds, and Ersan Ilyasova continued his strong rebounding effort, pulling down 18 on the night.
The Bucks are off today. They’ll host the Chicago Bulls at the Bradley Center on Wednesday night.
