Brewers sweep Marlins

June 7, 2011 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Brewers finished off a 4-game sweep of the Florida Marlins with a 7-2 in Miami on Monday night.

Prince Fielder homered and drove in 4-runs as the Brewers pulled to within a game and a half of the first place Cardinals in the NL Central.  It’s the first four game sweep for the Brewers since 2008.

The win also gives the Brewers a boost with their road record (13-19) which stood at 9-19 going into the 4-game set with the Marlins.

Zach Greinke allowed 2-runs in 7-innings for his 5th win.  The Brewers are back home to host the New York Mets at Miller Park tonight.
