Shields questionable for Sunday against Minnesota

November 23, 2013 By Bill Scott

The Green Bay Packers may only have four healthy cornerbacks for Sunday’s game against division rival Minnesota at Lambeau Field.

Sam Shields, who couldn’t play against the New York Giants last week because of a hamstring injury, hasn’t practiced all week this week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Vikings.

Casey Hayward is already sidelined with a hamstring injury, Micah Hyde didn’t practice this week but says he’ll play on Sunday and James Nixon is headed for season ending injured reserve.

Rodgers ruled out

Aaron Rodgers wasn’t able to return to practice on Friday and has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Vikings.

Rodgers said earlier in the week that he would have to practice two days before the game to be able to play in it.  He would have to practice by next Tuesday to play on Thanksgiving day against Detroit.
