Wisconsin Badger outside linebacker Vince Biegel says he plans to explore his National Football League options after the season.

The redshirt junior from Wisconsin Rapids is second on the squad in sacks (6), tackles for loss (10 1/2) and hurries (seven).  He said he plans to explore his options after the season by seeking an evaluation from the NFL Draft Advisory Board.

Badgers vs. Northwestern

Wisconsin (8-2, 5-1 Big Ten) has only a slim hope of winning the Big Ten’s West Division title.  They will need to win both of their remaining games, including the home finale on Saturday against Northwestern.  The Badgers will need Iowa (10-0, 6-0) to lose twice to get into the Big Ten title game.

Wisconsin lost its head-to-head matchup with the Hawkeyes 10-6 in the Big Ten opener.

Injury front

Running back Corey Clement is expected to practice this week.  He’s played in just two games this season because of a sports hernia.

Tight end Austin Traylor, who has been out since suffering a broken arm in the Big Ten opener, is practicing and is expected to play this week.
