McAdoo could land Giants head coaching job today

January 14, 2016 By Bill Scott

Two years ago, Ben McAdoo was the quarterbacks coach of the Green Bay Packers.  Today, McAdoo could become the next head coach of the New York Giants.

The 38-year-old McAdoo spent the last two seasons as the Giants’ offensive coordinator and was credited for helping quarterback Eli Manning get back on track.

McAdoo would replace Tom Coughlin, who resigned after 12 years as New York’s head coach.

McAdoo was the Packers’ quarterbacks coach in 2012 and 2013 and their tight ends coach for six years before that.

Former Packers offensive coordinator and ex-Miami head coach Joe Philbin would be among the favorites to run McAdoo’s offense in New York.
