Santana returns to Brewers lineup tonight

June 3, 2016 By Bill Scott

Brewers logoThe Milwaukee Brewers reinstated outfielder Domingo Santana from the disabled list today and he’s already in the lineup tonight against the Phillies in Philadelphia.

The Brewers are searching for their third straight win and their 9th straight against the Phillies in Philadelphia.

The Brewers are 25-29, four-games under .500 entering play tonight.

Jimmy Nelson gets the start for the Brewers, looking for his fifth straight quality start and ninth overall.  The Phillies will counter with right-handed pitcher Vince Velasquez (5-2, 3.63).

Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun enters tonight’s game just two hits shy of 1,500 for his career.
