Bucks agree to deals with 3-players

July 8, 2013 By Bill Scott

Milwaukee Bucks General Manager John Hammond had a busy weekend as the team reportedly agreed to terms with a trio of free agents.

Friday, the report came out that Milwaukee was bringing in shooting guard O.J Mayo on a 3-year, $24-million deal.  Mayo has played 5-years in the league posting 15.3 points a game.  After spending his first 4-seasons in Memphis, Mayo played with Dallas last year where he shot a career best 40.7% from behind the arc.

The other two signings for the Bucks will bring back a pair of former players.  Saturday, Milwaukee agreed to a 3-year $15-million deal with big man Zaza Pachulia.  Pachulia was with Atlanta last year with current Milwaukee Head Coach Larry Drew.  Pachulia was with the Bucks for the 2004-2005 season.

Sunday, news broke of a 2-year, $7-million deal with swingman Carlos Delfino.  Delfino played in Milwaukee for three seasons from 2009 to 2012 where he averaged 10.5 points a game.  Before last season, Delfino signed a multi-year deal with Houston but was let go to make cap-room for the Dwight Howard signing.

Free agency began July 1st in the NBA as teams could talk with players but nothing can officially be signed until July 10th when all the salary cap numbers become official.
