Packers to open 5 offseason practices to the public

The Green Bay Packers announced the rest of their offseason schedule on Monday.  Five

of the team’s offseason practices will be open to the public.

The open OTA practices are slated for May 21, May 28 and June 11, all Tuesday’s.  The two mandatory minicamp practices are scheduled for June 4 and 5.

The Packers rookie orientation and tryout camp runs May 10-12, but is closed to the public.

The Packers will start their voluntary organized team activities that run May 20-22, May 28-30 and June 11-14 while holding their mandatory minicamp June 4-6.

Players report for the start of training camp on July 25 with the first practice on Friday, July 26.

 

Hargrove avoids talk of bounty scandal

concerned about his upcoming 8-game suspension and the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal, he’s not showing it.

Hargrove is appealing his suspension.  When asked about it, as well as any other aspect of the bounty scandal, Hargove turned the conversation back to football and his new team, the Green Bay Packers.
