The Green Bay Packers cornerback position has thinned out considerably after free agent Tramon Williams celebrated his 32nd birthday by signing a new 3-year deal worth $21 million with the Cleveland Browns.
Williams spent eight previous seasons with the Packers, arriving in Green Bay as an undrafted rookie and spending his first season on the teams practice squad.
Over the past five seasons, Williams started 79 of a possible 80 games. He tied a franchise record with three interceptions during the 2010 postseason that ended with the Packers winning their latest Super Bowl title. [Read more…]
